Credits: The Las Vegas Gambling table is an antique plastic ashtray (Pre 1963) with a decorated metal insert. What a hoot! Found for a reasonable price in an antique store. Once hubby showed it to me I had to go to the car to get my dolls to see if it would work. Wala... Gambling Dolls!!! Looks like the dolls won. The small dice were a set purchased at Hobby Lobby. The tiny red and black chips are made of thick paper and came with a small checker set.
Thanks to Oese for the Lundby Box idea. She has a really great Blog at http://raumfuerraum.blogspot.com/
I have a slot machine just like that in the pub! :-) The gambling table is fantastic, I hope the peeps won't get too addicted and gamble away all their money and homes!

What a great scene. I love the gambling table and the dolls' clothes are great.
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! What a great find!! Love this!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! and a family-oriented place to boot! Is this part of the mini-mall that we are all waiting to see??
ReplyDeleteThe slot machine is one of those old pencil sharpeners and it actually works. Martin & Mary have found a buyer for the Gotland Model and took the gang to Las Vegas for a short trip. The attorney Bill is the dealer and he knows exactaly how much they can afford to lose.
ReplyDeleteTo: Nicola, I have bought so many items that I thought were the right size and then I would get them home and they were too big. I have many measurements and a small tape measure in my purse at all times. When we travel or go antiquing I always bring a couple dolls and a few tiny items so I don't mess up the size anymore. Hubby is very, very good at the sizing. I know I am blessed but hey, he started this all by getting me my first Lundby House. So glad you liked. Funny is always good.
ReplyDeleteTo Pandora, Kathi & Flo, THANKS!!! I just knew this was unique and Lundby never made a gambling table. Yes, the kids are learning how to play poker. Martin booked the special trip so everybody could have some fun. Evil baby is at home with the babysitter. I am waiting for hubby to set up HIS mini-mall. LOL Oh wait... I guess I'll have to help him.
